NASHIK: A private architecture college in the city was vandalised on Wednesday by some unidentified persons allegedly after a fresher, the daughter of a local political leader, complained about ragging on Tuesday.
The Satpur police have registered a case of rioting and causing damage.
Head of department of the college Manju Bele told TOI that some students, along with those from the first year, met on Tuesday to plan Independence Day programmes. The seniors asked the first year students, including the daughter of local NCP worker Dilip Khaire, to introduce themselves as they were new to the college.
